If you are a fan of Alejandro Sanz then you would definitely enjoy this DVD. If it a very well put together performance and the video quality was excellent. He is an engaging performer who I wish I could have seen live but this is a great way to make up for it!

I have been listening to and been involved with music for over 60 years now. This DVD ranks among the best I have ever watched or seen. It must have been incredible to be at the concert in person. How he maintains this level of intensity for almost 3 hours is a superhuman feat. The backup band is probably one the of the best I've heard and the arrangements are superb!!!! (I would love to know who did the arrangements?). Here is an artist who is definitely at the top of his profession. Holding the crowd in the palm of his hand (albeit thay were adoring fans) and at times performing at the edge of his abilities. The sound was terrific, my one moan was that at times the picture quality lacked a bit of clarity and sharpness. Whatever the crowd paid ... Read More:

All I can say is that I watched this film and was surprised to find that it was filmed in the very same beautiful hotel that I spent my honeymoon. This story was both engaging and interesting and I recommend it to anyone who is thinking or even fantasising about going to mexico city.
It is more if a "film" than a "movie" so bring your brain with you. It captured the heart and pulse of Mexico City without having to result to over stereotyped characters (well the character pedro the taxi driver was a bit over the top) but bearable and likable.
The story flows well and the action is tame but exciting. The main protagonist "Mich", is a woman with nothing to loose but still she looses her brother in the heart of MC. Her search for ... Read More:

I have all his dvds and this is the best for audio & songs performance. The audio mismatch is corrected by selecting the correct audio option on your dvd player that's all. And if you have a good home theather pump it up at the medley final song, "Viviendo Deprisa". For great acoustic "Hay un universo de pequeñas cosas" song.

This is great movie, a morality tale based on the literary genius of one of Juan Rulfo's books, this is a movie that will connect with many audiences in spite of the subject matter. The story evolves around Dionisio Pinzon played by Ernesto Gomez who most recently was seen in the excellent movie "El Callejon de Milagros (Midaq Alley?)." Pinzon is a character who the audience has sympathy for initially but as he learns the ways of the world he becomes despicable. In the beginning of the movie he is a humble towncrier, getting up with the roosters to stand on his little stool to give the news and announcements to his pueblito(little town). His abilities are noticed by a traveling feria(fair) that is in need of someone to hype the cockfights and the feria. He ... Read More:
