This novel is comprised of a series of letters from a developing group of friends. The main character is a writer whose editor is an old friend, the brother of another friend, and a quietly jealous observer of the main character's growing attachment for another admirer.

While I admit to some curiosity about some decisions the main character has to make about her tragic past and the consequences of a newly-ended war in the present, I just felt this novel could have been a bit more "evolved" about its approach to religion. I thought that this would be just another teenage girls fantasy romance, but it has much more to it then that. If you are looking for love in all the worng places "Twlight" is for you. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes vampires and to those who are helpless romantics.

THIS WORKED! My husband did it and lost a lot of weight (about 25 pounds, I think). The thing that impressed me is that he was able to EAT while he was on the diet. My husband LOVES FOOD. Seriously. He loves to think about food, he loves to make food, he loves to look at food and he loves to EAT. If he can do this diet and STILL ENJOY FOOD (which he did), then anyone can.

Only problem: when he doesn't stick to it, he gains weight back very quickly. It needs to be a lifestyle choice and not something that you do for just one month.

Joker is my favorite villain of all time. I have wanted to get this comic for ages. The whole story line of how he came to be the Joker seemed rushed and the whole insanity saga with Commissioner Gordon played out like the boat scene in the Dark Knight...long, boring, and making no sense at all. Also, the Joker just needed to be in the comic more being crazy as a loon and doing what the Joker does...much like the Joker needed to be in the Dark Knight A LOT more. But the comic ends with a great joke and a pretty weird sililoquoy by a deranged 18 year old...didn't get that one. Overall a great graphic novel from a great artist, just needed more of the Joker in it.

I am excited to use the MLA tools in this pocket guide for writing my college papers. There is so much in this little book, and was worth ever cent of my purchase. There are lots of little things that students forget like noun/verb agreement, and possession. It is very helpful, and every student should have this!
