I read the author's notes at the back of the book before I started and that's where I learned that this book would have been much longer had not an editor worked with Paolini to trim it down.

Time to fire that editor and hire one who will actually do the job.

Paolini's writing and the attendant lack of a competent editor remind me of what happened with Tom Clancy's books: A halfway decent story gets buried in all sorts of bad writing. If it's not the minutiae of how a sword is made (reminded me of one of Clancy's little side-trips in how to make a submarine quiet), it's the endless repetition of information that has already been introduced and death-by-hackneyed-phrases. This is by far the best biography available on Mr. Buffett. I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking to have a more profound understanding of Mr. Buffett and the evolution of his investment style and life, covering a time period back to his ancesters to this date.

This book is not just reserved for business/investing oriented persons, but they should be encouraged to read it further. In my opinion, anyone can apply the lessons in the book to their own reality.

In a "think it, learn it, do it" way of thinking, this book and all available info on Mr. Buffett, his mentors, transcripts,etc; covers the "learn it" part. The rest of course is up to you.

i absolutely LOVED this book. stephenie meyer has this uncanny ability to capture a reader's attention and actually keep the reader's attention. this is the book that readers dream of. an unrequited love, a forbidden and intense love. bella and edward's connection is palpable and one that we all long for. meyer's writing drips of fluid imagery and it's a definite page turner. i've read all 4 books in the twilight saga and i am always drawn back to this one. i highly recommend this book for all ages!

A friend of mine bought me this book for my birthday, explaining that it was a best selling spiritual read, so I was looking forward to what it had to say. I can honestly say I was unimpressed from the start. There was this build to this huge life changing 'secret' and it was like waiting for a huge explosion that never actually went off.

This whole Secret is based on wishful, dillusional thnking. It claims that if you want to have money, believe that you will have money and it will come to you. If you want to lose weight, believe that you're losing weight and it will happen. It rarely ever mentions that you have to put work in for these things to happen.
