This is a subliminal reprogramming theta wave program. You can hear the pulsing sound waves mixed with beautiful soft and calming piano music. It is a vibratory CD, lasting one hour. (Theta is an excellent wave vibration to use for meditation. I personally like theta for certain meditation, especially meditation programs designed to implant knowledge.) The CD is by Kelly Howell and released by Brain Sync Corp. The music is by Robert Schwimmer. The cover claims that Kelly Howell is acclaimed for her pioneering work in healing and mind-expansion.

Awakening Kundalini

I really like this CD. Howell gives a great explanation of what and why of Awakening Kundalini, then talks you through three breathing techniques, and finally a 30 minute meditation that is very powerful. I'm not sure if it is the breathing or what but I definitely feel more alive and energetic afterwards. I would highly recommend this CD.

Just has a swooshing sound similar (but by no means identical) to the ocean... with some cricket chirping sounds as well... underlying "brain sync" stuff going on as well, I suppose, nearly inaudible to the conscious brain.

Not much there in terms of anything that really jumps out at you... but I play it at work instead of music because I tend to end up listening very closely to music, which detracts my attention from my work! With this as ambient background noise, I actually am more focused on my work... not supremely focused like the CD claims: I'm not sure I buy the whole "brain sync" garbage, but this CD is good in a very unflattering way: by NOT grabbing your attention, it allows you to focus your attention on whatever else you're doing rather than on ... Positive Thinking (Brain Sync Audios)

I popped this cd in my computer while at work and have it playing in the background throughout the day. It is nice, quiet and relaxing music. I have been listening for about three weeks. I have noticed that my stress level has decreased and my mood is more pleasant....whether or not that is necessarily attributed to this cd I cannot say. However, I consider it worth the money.

I initially gave this 5 stars but decided to rereview and dock it one star - the presentation is extremely smooth but a couple complaints: (1) the discussion is often quite corny; this is typical of a lot of meditation CDs in general so the occasional wild claim can be forgiven, but it seems every other thing out of her mouth is something like "You may find the you feel an exillerating sense of contentedness and etc..." (or some such). It's just too much; here and there is OK, but after a while it's like: just guide my meditation, don't tell me how wonderful I feel - let that be the by-product. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, and (2) Sometimes when talking there will be little blurbs mixed right or left along with what she's saying... initially it's kind of cool, but they're mixed ... Read More:
