- A fitting farewell.
This is my first review even though I have purchase hundreds of CDs form Amazon. Reason...this album is a must have for any Healey fan not just because it was his last but because it is another shining example of his unique style of blues. The live cuts are really unique performances and the studio work is equally impressive. A fitting combination of styles and flavors to bid a great bluesman farewell. BUY IT!

- Jeff's Final Effort
As a guitarist for 47 years, I always hate to see one of the good ones go away, but at least he left a parting gift for us. All in all, it's a good effort, marred only by a couple of comparitively weak cuts in the middle of the album. The rest of it really sparkles. Personally, I'll miss ya, Jeff. I hope you and Jimi are ravin'!!

This cd actually made me cry when I listened to it. I had forgotten how incredibly talented Healey was and now that he is gone, we have lost a truly amazing musician. This is an awesome release from an amazing individual. You must get this cd.

Its a shame Jeff died recently. This album shows that Jeff had a lot of music left in him. All songs are covers, but he makes them his own. Great guitar playing and he selects all types of blues and rock and roll songs. He is a great guitar player, especially when you consider the way he plays the guitar--on his lap and blind as a bat!!!!!! Incredible!!!! Just listen to the way he plays the Neil Young song--Like a Hurricane--the singing and the guitar solos are the best I have heard of this song done by someone other than Neil Young. You got to have this album if you love Jeff Healey--may he rest in peace up there jamming with Hendrix and Rory Gallagher.

Absolutely great blues. The best real blues JHB has done, a little rock overtones but pure blues. There best blues. Hey, what else can I say.
