- This album is a great throwback to good rock!
I managed to purchase this item on the idea that I loved the video for "Knights of Cydonia". But after listening to all the songs, I found that there's lots of little gems throughout. Especially "Map of the Problematique" as well as "Exo-Politics". As for my throwback reference, when I first listened to this, some of the sounds reminded me of Queen as well as some of the electronic sounds from various bits of 80's music. Which is definitely a good thing.
Highly recommended!!!

If you already like Muse then you will naturally love this cd, if you don't know them then this is a good one to start out with. They are rock stars after all, so it was fun to see them in the DVD.

I bought it for starlight and ended up loving it - as I did the last album. I also really like supermassive black hole which was featured on the Sopranos! yay.

It's funny how things occur, you know? I had never heard of Muse before I went to the My Chemical Romance concert where they opened. I was pleasantly shocked. They have this Queen-like vibe that I can't get out of my head. I like several of the songs on the album, but there seems to be more misses than hits. But that's alright, considering "Take A Bow", "Starlight", and "Knights of Cydonia" warrant the purchase of this CD.

Not as strong as their Absolution album, but solid Muse. There is a little more complexity to their style nowadays compared to their earliest albums, which is one of the elements I most appreciate in music. It's a little lighter than I'd like on piano, but what is there works well. Standout tracks for me are "Take a Bow" and "City of Delusion." ROCK!
Muse is one of those bands that I simply can never get enough of.
