I enjoyed the music videos That came with the cd. I don't like Jane Fonda ..I mean Natalie Maine politics But her and the girls have great Aurora in there music.

Just hearing their voices makes my skin crawl. I used to like them but the Chicks failed to recognize their fan base and alienated a lot of listeners with their anti American rhetoric.

My beautiful little 7-year-old nephew died from a brain hemorrhage last month. The touching words and music of "Godspeed" will haunt me forever and always remind me of the sweetest little boy I ever knew: "Godspeed, little man. Sweet dreams, little man. Oh, my love will fly to you each night on angels' wings. Godspeed. Sweet dreams."

There music is just to good for me to put my opinion of it into words. Of all their music this CD is their best. From Long Time Gone to Top of the World not a bad or simply "Ok" song on the CD.
I already owned the CD when I hesitantly bought the bouns DVD limited edition. (Owning two sets of the same music..unheard of my billfold screamed)
The purchase of this special edition was worth every penny.

I have never written a review before, but the fact is this is a GOOD CD. The Dixie Chicks have brought blue grass into the 21st century, on their own terms. These are talented musicians, who have refused to conform to the formulas that are dictating much of what is heard on country music stations. If you don't buy this CD because Natalie Maine exercised her right of freedom of speech, it is your loss. The video DVD is worth every cent of the extra cost. This is the best of what country music has to offer.
