Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very good
I was kind of skeptical buying this CD set, considering that I already own Classic Queen, but I figured I had nothing to lose but $26. I bought it, and here is my opinion:

Disc 1 has most of the Queen hits that are known to almost every classic rock and Queen fan alike. The only disappointment (in my opinion) on this disc was that the full version of Fat Bottomed Girls was not used.

Disc 2 has most of their other hits. Some notable ones include I Want to Break Free, Under Pressure, The Show Must Go On, Hammer to Fall, and Who Wants to Live Forever, which was edited but the full version can be found on Classic Queen.

Disc 3 is not great, but it's good. It has some songs that shouldn't be there, but the only hits on there are Princes of the Universe, Heaven for Everyone, Thank God It's Christmas, and the Somebody to Love duet with George Michael.

Overall, this was a good CD set. If you are a first-timer or a collector, this is good for you. But it's good for anyone, really.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - queen

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love it!
I was not a big fan of Queen-though I've always liked their music, just never owned any of it. I bought it during the holidays for my kids (6,5,&3)for our car trip to Florida. They LOVED it!! Seriously!! My three yr.old likes the "funny song" -Another One Bites the Dust & can sing it word for word-my 5 yr.old loves Killer Queen & Don't Stop Me Now & just about all the other songs on the CD. I thought they would like it because the Chicken Little movie has We are the Champions & all 3 of them sing it...& I was right.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Yes, the one collection to rule them all.
First off, let me ask you the following. How many of the following bands/artists do you like:

10cc, AFI, Anthrax, Bad News, Ben Folds Five, Billy Squier, Blind Guardian, Boy George, The Darkness, Def Leppard, Dr. Dre, Dream Theater, Electric Six, Extreme, The Flaming Lips, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Gary Numan, George Michael, Green Day, Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden, Jane's Addiction, Jeff Buckley, Jellyfish, Joan Osborne, Katie Melua, Keane, Marilyn Manson, Meat Loaf, Megadeth, The Melvins, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Muse, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, OK Go, Panic! At The Disco, Pharrell Williams, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Robbie Williams, Saga, Scissor Sisters, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Smiths, Sonata Arctica, Sparks, Steve Vai, TNT, Tenacious D, Justin Timberlake, Tori Amos, Trent Reznor, Van Halen, Ween, The White Stripes

Interesting list, eh. What do these bands and artists have in common? Even if all were of different genres, they were all influence by Queen. Yes...your MCR and your RHCP and your Radiohead and your Iron Maiden, hell even Dr. Dre himself! Chances are from that list you at least like 1 of them (if you don't, then I really don't know what to say). Queen has been a major band that has made their mark on a ton of genres. Rock, Pop, some Metal (come on, you know that ending from BR was very metalish).

So this brings us to this kickass collection, and I MEAN KICKASS. The first Disc contains most of their best-known early work. While Bohemian Rhapsody is a masterpiece, songs like Don't Stop Me Now, Bicycle Race, and Somebody to Love are very easy to enjoy. Of course we got classics like We Will Rock You and We are the Champions that well...you should all have heard by now.

Disc 2 has mainly work from their 80s...yes, Under Pressure with David Bowie, my personal favorite I Want To Break Free, the motivational I Want It All, and most importantly, probably one of Queen's best, The Show Must Go On.

Disc 3 is the weakest of the 3 with various covers by Elton John and George Michaels, as well as solo work from our buddies Freddy and Brian. Even though this may not be as great as the first 2 discs, it's still not all that bad and still worth getting.

For me, it was the first Queen album I got on CDs, with better quality recording than the old reels I had. If you liked any of the above bands, then you better make sure you give a listen to Queen, the band that influenced them. To me, Queen isn't a band. They aren't great, they aren't bad. They are a way of life!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I couldn't be happier!
The product was exaclty what I asked for. Chock full of Queen hits that should satisfy any queen fan!
