- Pretty Damn Good
I randomly bought this one, knowing fairly little about the band, but I love Radiohead and Muse is some crazy mix of Radiohead and something I cannot put my finger on. I was generally very pleased with my decision.

This CD is amazing. It is very different from their other albums, but it is still great! Best songs: Sunburn, Muscle Museum, Fillip, Cave, Showbiz, and Uno.

Muse is easily one of the best bands of the last 10 years and this is where they got their start. I would check out their other albums first as this is more for the already seasoned fan, but it's still a great album.
Rating: - Excellent, well worth my wait
This, Muse's first album, turned out to be the very last one I got the opportunity to listen to. The sound is definitely younger and less polished and complex, but the clear signs of genius are already present.
"Unintended" struck a strong, poignant chord with me, being perhaps the closest Muse comes to a balladic love song. It's also a good one for singing in the shower! :) "Muscle Museum" is also a strong track, and the rest of the album rounds out nicely. Solid Muse.

muse had not completely perfected their sound yet but you can hear the good things to come on songs like muscle museum and sunburn, i also reccomend absolution and black holes, havent heard symmetry yet
