To say that this album is utterly brilliant would be an understatement. I don't think I'll ever get tired of listening to this stuff. Phenominal - almost too good to be true!

- Seeds of greatness
It's not so simple to write a debut that doesn't feel like something you've already heard. What does meke the difference anyway? That feeling of expressive power that makes you say "here is somebody that has something new to say" they can bacome big. I think for Muse this is the case, so with Radiohead in lack of inspiration (heard Kid A?) let's try it!

Smashing. I bought this cd and a ticket to their Sydney concert after hearing the songs "Sunburn" and "Uno" once each. They are now indisputably one of my absolute favourite bands. I've been hunting for imported singles just to have the b-sides. It's great to see music with a soul finally get some play. They're NOT just a Radiohead wannabe, though some songs have a very "The Bends" feel and Matt does do some "OK Computer"-esque wailing with both guitar and voice, but to great effect! Mind-blowingly diverse with a passion that has been lacking in music for years.
If this doesn't convince you, what if I told you that they're all really cute? (Especially Matt- hope you read this!)

I bought this CD almost blind folded. i recall listening to it in a record store and thinking "Man, that tunes give chills to my spine" It's just amazing, Matt's voice is truly very similar to Yorke, but the songs go in another direction, which is very pleasing. Muse is no Radiohead wannabe, this band has great stuff to show. I do not agree with the main review here that says that they have no appeal like their fav bands. It's never been the appeal, it's the music, and this is a great collection of songs. I can't help crying every time i listen to Unintended. Buy this thing.

Man....This band cannot be better, their music cannot be better, in simpler terms.....MUSE are just fine!! The songs have that deep feeling that i really cannot explain.....coz it's too deep! I wish them all my best to keep on doing great with their great music. I would like to dedicate this note i wrote to my late platonic lover .....he feels just the same way i feel about MUSE!
