This is a collection of novelty songs about the Beatles. The Beatles inspired more novelty songs than anybody, other than possibly Elvis Presley. There are a few different categories of Beatles novelty songs. There are songs by girls who love the Beatles, songs by jealous guys who hate the Beatles, dances inspired by the Beatles, songs based on the rumor that Paul died, songs pleading for the Beatles to reunite and some that don't fit into any category. There are even some songs about things that happened to the ex-Beatles after the group broke up; like the government's efforts to deport John and Paul's arrest in Japan for possesion of marijuana. Most of these songs are performed by untalented nobodies, but there are a couple of famous performers in disguise. The B.R.A.T.T.S. are really Rock and Roll Hall of Famers the Coasters and Rainbo is really Academy Award winning actress Sissy Spacek. To be perfectly frank, most of the songs are pretty bad. The best one is probably "A Day in the Life of Green Acres", which is the lyrics to the "Green Acres" theme set to the music of "A Day in the Life". The sound quality of the CD is pretty poor, too. It sounds like it was recorded directly from old records. Not a very good CD, but Beatles fans may find it interesting.
