Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - OK Computer...Sure, why not?
Well, it is hard to describe this album. It addresses many different problems in thick layers, that may take a long time to decipher. But, this album, this band, is still relevant to this day, and i think that do not get all the critical praise they so rightfully deserve, even with their great critical acclaim. But, hey, in a world where people see "My Chemical Romance" as one of the greatest bands, who gets what they deserve?

This band is a breakthrough band, which inspired other bands such as Coldplay. This album is a hard album to follow up behind, because of the way they describe humanity with beautiful production and sounds, whether its the soul bending keyboards and guitars or Tom Yhorke's beautifully distorted voice, OK Computer is a beautiful album that shall be cherished forever.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Ok Computer Better Than OK.
This is a great cd that definately requires your full attention while listening to.If you don't,you most likely will not appreciate the cd for all that it really is.My favorite tracks are all of them except Exit Music and The Tourist.I just haven't really found much appeal in those two tracks yet.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - There's a difference between liking and obsessing, and there's a difference between disliking and loathing
I admit: I am a very recent, shall we say, "convert" to Radiohead. I enjoy their music. I started with In Rainbows, and I liked it. It's a little bit poppy, a little bit arty, a little experimental. I have different phases in music: sometimes I go through classic rock phases, sometimes folk, sometimes electronica, sometimes progressive, sometimes alternative. As of now, I'm in a bit of a Radiohead/Moby kind of phase. But here's the thing. I like In Rainbows, and some songs from The Bends (notably High And Dry) and some songs from Kid A (notably Optimistic). And although Radiohead happens to be what I'm listening to for the most part right now, that doesn't mean they're Gods.

OK Computer is a cool, arty, minimalistic guitar rock album. It's very textured. It doesn't have specific catchy melodies, but it's captivating enough to listen to again. Some of it is weird. Some of it is not so weird. Standout tracks are "Karma Police," a poppy piano/guitar-driven ballad with some really intelligent lyrics, "Airbag," a creepy arty opener that's one of the most textured and ultimately rewarding songs, and "Paranoid Android," a three-part (kind of) epic that is comparable to Bohemian Rhapsody, even if it's nowhere near as complex.

So yeah, I like the album. I'll listen to it again. But guess what: I'm not hailing it as the best of the 90's. Why? Because it's not. It's intelligent, it's captivating, and it's a great album. But just because it has all these qualities does not mean it's the best. It does not mean Radiohead's the best band. It does not mean I'm going to force you to listen to it, and force you to agree with me that it's the best album ever. The sad part is, some people are forced to listen to it, and they end up agreeing that it's the best album ever because it has these qualities. They trick themselves into thinking that it's the best album ever, just because they like it and loads of other people like it. I think these people need to try getting themselves into other kinds of music, and they'll see that although Radiohead is great in their own right, there's different music out there that's just as good.

And of course, there are those who sadly think that because some people are forced to agree that it's great, they shouldn't have to think it's great. In fact, they end up forcing themselves to think that it's terrible, just to avoid ending up like the other kind of people. What you get is the same result: a forced opinion that isn't necessarily true. Now, if you don't like albums that are heavily textured, arty, and minimalistic, and prefer more uplifting lyrics, that's fine. Listen to something else, but don't force yourself to think that this is the worst album ever, and that all who like it are idiots. Just as all those who like it shouldn't force themselves to think that this is the best album ever, and that all who dislike it are idiots. Maybe you'll be better off.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Anyone who doesn't like this album, is a complete fool
There is nothing else to say about O.K. computer except that it is the best album ever made, hands down. Of course Dark Side Of the Moon is a close second.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A more than worthwhile buy for almost anyone.
What makes a great album? Many things, but you just know an album is great when it is consistent and puts out more than 2 or 3 amazing tracks. I count nine memorable songs in this album that are not filler songs; they are each unique, amazing and have their own following of fans who argue over who's favorite is the best song on the album. If any one of these songs were made by a new band it would instantly be that band's "Creep" one-hit-wonder.

Another thing I have to say about the artwork: nothing short of spectacular. Several pages of post-modernist abstract and figurative excellence are packed into the booklet and enhance the experience of the album. Kudos to Stanley Donwood.
