- Can You Still Dance?
Ah, the disco days, who ever thought I'd be looking at these songs as oldies. All these songs bring me right back to my "clubbing" days, beleive it or not they sound just as fresh now as they did...well, all those years ago. The title "Pure Disco" is exactly what you get.
Rating: - Super!
This is the best disco compilation I have ever hear. I looked and looked for a long time for a collection of top disco hits on CD. Most of the ones that I found were collections of unknown artist recreating the original hits. This was the first one I found that had original artist playing the songs. I tried Pure Disco and liked it so much that I bought Pure Disco 2, 3 and Pure Funk! All of them are great! These have great production value too. The graphics on the CDs are a hoot!

This CD and volumes 2 & 3 are the best ever for dance music. I ordered Pure Disco 1 and it was a big hit at my party, so I ordered 2 & 3. These CD's will keep you dancing all night long. Well worth the money and your friends will love dancing to all the great songs! It's a sure hit for anyone that loves to dance!

- An Excellent Disco Primer
If you're looking for your first disco album, this one's a good bet. The selections range from the obvious and great ("YMCA", "Celebration", "I Will Survive", "That's the Way (I Like It)") to the not-so-obvious and great ("I Don't Believe You Want to Get Up and Dance", "Got to Give It Up", "Cuba", "If I Can't Have You"). Unfortunately, you get a few obvious songs I'm not so crazy about, like "Love Hangover" (which sounds rather stilted). There are even a few what-the-HECK? numbers, like "Flashback" (a lame song from the 80's) and "The Best Disco in Town" (which hopefully doesn't play this song). The remix of "I Feel Love" isn't bad but the original would've sounded more in place. Don't let these few problem items dissuade you, though - you've got a SKIP TRACK button on your CD player for a reason.

I think this cd is the best cd in disco music I heard the other two and there is no way to compare those with this one. Is really cool, eventhough the song are the more popular now and in the 70s that makes the people feel like in their age or epoch. In other words this is the best cd a company could do
