- Not Their Best, But Better Than Anyone Else
This album falls short of their new one, "Euphoria" or the previous ones like Hysteria...I even like the B-sides on Retroactive more, BUT this album still kicks and is worth the bucks. This IS Def Leppard afterall...no one does it better. And this album has sold 5 million copies. The best tracks are: Let's Get Rocked, Heaven Is, Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion), and White Lightning.
Rating: - Def Leppard Delivers Once Again
In this day and age it is hard to find a group that never loses touch with that old 80's style of rock. Def Leppard is quite simply the best rock band around and their album Adrenalize is no different. There are a few songs that I tend to skip over but for the most part I love this cd. Personally, I think I Wanna Touch U is the best song on the album, but Let's Get Rocked is a close second. The ballad Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad is also great. The whole cd is filled with energy and is a must for a Leppard fan.

Who would have thought that these guys could overcome tragedy twice?!?!?I really admire them for overcoming both tragedies the way they did(Rick Allen losing his arm and the death of Steve Clarke).And what better way to show it than to come out with an album that rocks!!! This album is the best,and is worth the bucks.I'm telling you,it is not a waste at all!!!!!

The title tells you everything about this album. The songs are packed with energy and adrenaline, and move at a fast, but steady pace. You will find Make love like a man and let's get rocked pleasantly uplifting and exciting. A wonderful follow up to Hysteria. The Leps stuck to their formula. Music was escapism, a chance to elude reality and have fun. Who knows what they could have accomplished with the addition of Steve Clark? He was a brilliant musician. But the band endured the suffering caused by the loss of Steve, carrying on his legacy, never losing the magic they capture with each album, and holding their place in music history.
Rating: - UNFAIRLY CRITICIZED...
Only the TRUE Lep fans embraced this album with open arms and an open mind..losing Steve Clark and still being able to make great music was going to be a long, hard road to travel. But, the boys prevailed again (even though Steve was there for most of the writing for the album) it was nothing short of amazing the way Phil Collen "stepped up to the plate" the way he did and played Steve's parts while managing to keep his own sound as well. With Phil and Joe both being quoted as saying their "music is escapism" and all they want to do is "make people happy", they definitely have managed to stick to those ideas. With tracks such as "Let's Get Rocked", "Make Love Like A Man", "I Wanna Touch U", and "Stand Up" you can really just escape into the music and have a lot of fun. Then, to a more serious note, with the track "White Lightning"...the dedication to Steamin' Steve, it's a great song and it really lets you know what Def Leppard is really all about..and if they didn't care so much about each other, their music wouldn't be so much fun! Being one of the very few rock bands to survive from the 80's, and being clumped in with the "glam bands", they have not been given a fair chance. This album was highly underrated and unfairly criticized. I feel I must also share that the track "Personal Property" would have to be my least favorite on the album, but it is still worth listening to. People need to give this album a chance, it really is a GREAT follow up to the albums (that made them the mega-superstars that they are) Pyromania and Hysteria. It certainly still has that famous Def Leppard sound.
