Amazing, Sarah Brightman sing like an angel.

An excelent effort in bringing to us life in Africa, through song as well as some of the more traditional music.
Rating: - Brilliant and Moving.
There is a veritable plethora of musical genre here. This is the magic of Sarah Brightman. The more contempory pieces are brilliant. The classical pieces are moving and stirring. I have always loved her version of Nessun Dorma and feel moved everytime I hear it. Her heart rendering vocal on First of May is worth the price alone. Il Mio Cuore Va is Sarah at her romantic best.I needed this concert to complete my set and now I wonder why I didn't get it sooner.

The guy must be a nut case! This is a lavishly concert and I enjoyed it a lot! I played it with a high-end Sony TV and a Sony VCR and I can tell she actually sang. There may be some technics to enhance her voice....(For some TV and DVD players, you might want to adjust it from displaing 16:9 ratio to 3:4 ratio or avoid the Pan and Scan setting to solve the lip-synch appearance. It's the way your DVD player set up, it's not Sarah's fault!)
She is Not a model like the "new standard" pencil-thin now adays (remember the DVD was shot about 10 years ago) but she is Not "PUDGY" (I found the Editor's remark nauseating).
She is quite attractive and she does lose weight now to fit in with the 2000's standard. Take a look at her "Harem" DVD, she looks TOO thin for my taste!
Her voice is important because she is Not a Pop singer like Britney! She use her Opera voice background and transform it to invent the Pop-Opera thing. Also take a look at her "La Luna" Tour DVD, Josh Groban worked for her at the time (he sang a duet with her too. I bet he learnt a lot from Sarah!
Anyway, the arrangements and atmosphere are sophisticated so maybe some people cannot get it. This DVD was the succesful DEBUT of her independent career outside of the Andrew Lloyd Weber repertoire.

I strongly recommend you to rent this DVD before buying - I am sure it will save you some good money.
- I kept asking myself while I was watching it: - what is this? what is this? - and before you might think I am an old-obscure-dark-fashion person - I tell you I am not.
