I actually picked this up for $15 at a store, but I guess you couldn't go wrong spending a bit more for this collection. Yes, some of the history is missing about how old some songs are, a bit of history of the songs, and yadda yadda, but what did you expect for this price? If you just want to try some Northern Soul, this is a good place to start. But you won't need to pick up the cd Northern Soul Forever if you do get this set, since all the tracks on it are spread out over these 3 in the collection....A few but not most of these songs are also on Ian Lavine's "Reaching for the Best"....
