I never liked German music, but Petula Clark's German recordings are outstanding, and when she sings in German, it becomes a sensual language. To my surprise, The International Collection is my favorite Pet Clark musical compilation. In my opinion she was the best female pop singer from 1960 through the early 1970's, and her interpretations and recordings in German, Italian, and Spanish were impeccable.
