I'm pretty sure I used to hear this fairly often on the radio back in 1994 and the song, even back then, connected with me and what I was going through for some reason. I had -- and still have -- a mental disorder of some kind and sometime around early 1992 it got out of control...so I had to go to the hospital and then was shifted to two group homes (homes for people with family or other kinds of serious personal problems) and it was around 1994/1995 that I started working my way towards living with my mother (my father had ditched us a few years before which my mom said might have been the reason for my explosion) again.
