Secret Voyageby: Blackmore's Night Release Date July 15, 2008 I've been a fan of Richie Blackmore going back to his Deep Purple and Rainbow days and quickly took a liking to his music in Blackmore's Night. Richie and Candace do not disappoint on this album at all. I was a bit hesitant about Rainbow Eyes, with it being a remake from Richie's Rainbow days. However, Candace did well on it and Richie's guitar work was nothing short of stupendous. I especially love the song Locked Within the Crystal Ball as there are great vocals on it and Richie's usual outstanding guitar work. If you are a new fan, or a "returning" fan of Blackmore's Night, this album will not disappoint you. A definite two thumbs up from me. |
