I am a huge fan of Flight of the Conchords, which is witty, clever, beautifully photographed, well acted, and wildly funny. This is none of those things. The main characters are not very interesting at best, or, in the case of Jarrod, massively irritating. A selfish jerk, a self-absorbed fool, an inarticulate bore, an utterly un-self aware misogynist, and a lying, grubby phony, he offers not one reason to care about him. Tossing aside everyone and everything, he is a one-man wrecking crew, destroying and punishing all around him.
