This Momentby: Steven Curtis Chapman Release Date October 23, 2007 This time, Chapman joins forces with producer Matt Bronleewe. A few songs show influences from groups: "One Republic," "U2", and "Coldplay" throughout the album. But, fear not Chapman sticks to his roots with his trademark guitars, crisp vocals and heartfelt lyrics. If anything, Matt gives Chapman a more mainstream sound that fits his vocals nicely. Overall, this is a great Chapman cd to have. "Miracle of the Moment" is my favorite track [it got me hooked and I had to have the cd for it]. The song "Children of God" hints at Chapmans' old hit: "Treasure of You" from the "Heaven in the Real World" album.What parents will like most is both them and their kids can listen to it. |
