Instrumental Paradise Volume 8by: Mehdi Release Date April 30, 2007 With this offering, Mehdi manages to invoke the paradox of simultaneously sounding both ancient and modern. Actually, much of what he produces is like that, but maybe a bit more so with this album. It is entrancing, and if you follow along, your stress level is sure to be bumped down several notches. I have two other Mehdi titles which I can recommend, and I think these three are the best of the bunch. Be sure to check out Volumes 4 and 7 in addition to 8. They are quite possibly the best of Mehdi's work. |
