The Birth of a Princeby: RZA Release Date October 07, 2003 Rza returns (for half the album) to his bobby steels / rzarector persona on this album and it is about time. Rza takes the listener through a semi autobiographical journey. The album starts out with a young bobby partying and selling drugs without much care for the future or wisdom. Eventually his drug dealer gets him to read a book (not sure what book this is, anyone know?) and bobby changes his outlook on life and becomes spiritual. He changes his name to Prince Rakeem (his first alias). The second half of the album is filled with conscious bangers and is a glimpse into his self hyped masterpiece "The Cure".
