My daughter watches it from time to time, but the quality and storyline do not hold up against the other Barbie movies. Our favorite Barbie movies are: 1. Barbie as The Island Princess 2. Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses 3. Barbie Mariposa and Her Butterfly Friends 4. Barbie in The Nutcracker I would only recommend this movie if you are a collector and want to own all the Barbie movies, otherwise, choose another one of her movies and I'm sure you'll enjoy it more. Also, to improve her reading skills I often put the movies on with the sound off so she can read the subtitles, but I went through the entire menu system and could not find the subtitles ...
