Beneath Your Moonby: Don Conoscenti Release Date February 07, 1995 This album is a bit gentler and not quite as adventurous musically as some of Don's later albums. "Hold on, Arelia" is perhaps my favorite song written by Don and I believe the album is worth buying on the basis of this song alone. However, "Jump This Train" is quite good as well as are "Thank You for Calling," "If I Had My Way," "Wintertime in Greyland, "Beneath Your Moon, and "Joie de Vivre." Don consistently turns out albums of thoughtful, interesting, well written songs that each tell a unique story. Gentle yet emphatic, Don is "easy listening" without being lazy and there is intelligence without pretense and thoughtful compassion all over his albums.
