Let It Beby: The Replacements Release Date June 13, 1989 Back around 2006 I had just heard of The Replacements and thought I would check them out, but honestly didn't like them at all. But I kept hearing how they were one of the best bands of the 80s so I thought maybe I was missing something, and I was. I had liked that song "Can't Hardly Wait" but didn't get it any of the rest of it at all. When I first heard Let It Be I showed it to a friend and he thought it was pure garbage, at the time I agreed with him. Fast forward to 2008 when I heard "Don't Ask Why" on Sorry Ma and began doubting my original judgment.
