Love Song (Broadway Compilation)by: Various Artists Release Date January 28, 2003 The entire CD is excellent and I do recommend it, however on the "Try To Remember" track from the "Fantasticks" most definitely sounds more like Ed Ames than Jerry Orbach. I have heard Jerry Orbach sing and he sang beautifully. But there are differences in their voices and I believe someone is trying to pass off an Ed Ames recording and saying it is sung by Orbach. Anyone agree? I'd like to hear different views. By the way, Ed Ames performed in "Fantasticks" for quite a while. His performance was one of his best. |
