Elyriaby: Faith and the Muse Release Date May 22, 2001 Excellent debut from Georgia band Faith and the Muse. The songs here are very memorable, unique, and there's tons of variety to be had. There's a very adamant folk element to the music, which really helps set this band apart from the typical goth fare. One-half of this duo is an ex-Christian Death bandmember, and it shows. But the music is no mere imitation; it stands on its own quite well. If more goth bands like this start popping up in the South, we've got a lot to look forward to. |
