Hysteriaby: Def Leppard Release Date October 25, 1990 This was the first album I ever bought back in 1988. I remember having my dad take me to the music store and him not understanding why they misspelled "deaf" and "leopard" in the band's name. Anyway, I wore this tape out and I am still not tired of listening to it. It's a more radio friendly version of Def Leppard as the harsh guitar tones have been replaced with the smooth effects-laden guitar tones of the mid to late 80's. I really believe Phil Collen had a big impact on the sound of this record. The style of guitar playing is very different from their earlier material.
