Have a Ballby: Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Release Date May 27, 1997 ...Me First has created a musical legacy far greater than the sum of the groups these guys fulltime in. I'm not a fan of cover versions(rare is the artist or band who can make a well known song more superior to the original that they make it their own) but, this band blows a fresh breeze through these tunes. Fun, fast, and,as someone mentioned earlier, clean. No melancholy here, just up-lifting, dynamic interpretations of classic songs; made even more classic("Me & Julio..." is awesome). Quite simply the best damn cover band in the world! |
