The different compilations keep the memories of Café del Mar alive, for whom have visited it, becoming a kind of identity mark. In 2008 CDM Music celebrates 15 years of music, and for this occasion, this triple CD has been compiled (each CD encapsulates a five year period) containing a total of 42 songs.  Rating:  - No surprises, no disappointmentsMore isn't always better, unless its a triple CD, 43 track offering from Cafe del Mar. Not dissimilar to Vols 13 & 14. Some familiar artists, such as DAB and Rue de Soleil. Same familiar chilled, laid back sounds for watching a sunset with a glass of your favorite. Rating: - Cafe del Mar Volume 15Three volumes and all very smooth new age jazz style. Always nice to get the newest from Cafe del Mar Rating:  - Cafe del Mar V15 Goes Way Too Smooth and MainstreamI must admit my last Cafe Del Mar compilation was around number five, and I haven't purchased any since back then. I read the shining review of the previous reviewer, and went ahead and bought this CD hoping that a 3 CD album would have enough substance. Another disclaimer - I have only listened to the whole album once, but my initial reaction, unfortunately, is that of disappointment. Gone are the emotion and passion of tracks like "More Than Ever People", or the groovy downbeat of "Penelope", or weird and unusual sound of "Pojo Pojo" (these are all tracks from CDM #5), all to be replaced with rather generic harmonies, blank instrumentation (some sort of guitar on almost every song), soulfully boring vocals.
