Product Description: Formed in Perth, Australia in 2002, Pendulum has sold over 200,000 copies of their initial release Hold Your Colour and have become a fixture in the UK music scene with major airplay and appearances on BBC Radio-1 in addition to features in Kerrang, Q, and Mix Magazines. They have sold out every one of their live shows to date and will be playing nearly every major festival this spring, including Coachella on Friday, April 25th. The highly anticipated new album In Silico hits stores May 12th in the UK, and will be their first ever US release on May 13th.

I feel totally dissapointed by this album. Hold your Colours was genious Drum N Bass, now this one seems like a totally different band. Sucks when bands differ in their style so much they sound like someone else.
Please get back to doing Drum N Bass. Too much singing, too much rock, this is not what I came to listen from Pendulum.

I give this a 5/5 because its a great CD. Yes its different from HYC, and I LOVE HYC. But see the thing is, if it was just like HYC then it wouldnt be good they have to mix things up a little. Because if it was like HYC then people like us would be posting reviews saying "This is a cheap imitation of HYC nothing new." Thats why this CD IS GREAT. its something different with a similar feel. ITS SO WORTH IT

I know a lot of people have been talking trash about this new CD from Pendulum but i dont understadn why. Pendulum's first CD, Hold Your Colour, was awesum, and this one is just as good if not better.
I think people are complaining about this CD because it is more rock/electronica then D&B. But Pendulum has always classified themselves more so as a rock band then D&B, so this In Silico just more so focuses on that.
The CD still has amazing bass (of course!) and there are songs on here that fit nicely into the D&B catagory. Like Showdown, Different, Visions, Midnight Runner exc.
What got me hooked on Pendulum awhile back was their song Slam from Hold Your Colour. Its been my favorite song for such a long ... Read More:

dang i've been listening to this album non stop. it's that good, pretty much pendulum , but with some more flavor. They have some spanish riifs, ol school voice filter melody's like the 80's,dub step,Breakbeat, they even have a freakin cowbell in one of the tracks, who uses a cowbell. They make all the elements blend together so nice, and even tho this album is a mix bag of genres in one, they make it blend seamlessly. with some good ol classic synth work. Pendulums production is always top notch imo, and the details they add are truly the genius behind their work

This album is wonderful, from start to finish. The selection may be a bit small(10 tracks), but every song could be two or three rolled into one. Although this is still Drum&Bass at it's core, Pendulum have done an amazing job of combining Rock with electronica. Some songs are very 80's, some very 90's, but all are uniquely Pendulum.
