Editorial Review:
Album Description: With over four decades of hits, Kenny Loggins is one of the most enduring artists in contemporary music. His 2008 album, How About Now, finds Kenny in peak vocal form and firmly rooted in the soulful singer-songwriter tradition that has underscored every phase of his extraordinary career. Featuring 11 original songs infused with Loggins' signature rock/country sound, the album includes standouts "A Love Song" and the moving new song "How About Now."

I've been a KL fan for a long time and I found myself very excited about this album. However, once I listened to it, I was confused. Where was the originality? Where was the musical genius I'd come to love? The only thing that came to mind when listening to this album is the awful amateur music I hear at county fairs. I was shocked! KL has, in the past, integrated elements of Country into his music. But this was the tedious "my wife left me, took the dog and the kids and my truck broke down" kind of Country. I hope he snaps out of it soon!

A great album throughout.I must admit the first time I played track one I was uninspired. The cd has a little country-rock which caught my interest. Those looking for Whenever I call you friend type songs will be sorely disappointed.I noticed some of the reviews were a little harsh but Ya can't please everyone but I am on this latest effort.

I love this record! Kenny is a great singer-songwriter plain and simple. His records have never left me disappointed. My favorite songs are How About Now, This Too Will Pass and A Years Worth of Distance. Thank you Kenny for your amazing music!

I love this album. I love his honesty about his feelings over the break-up. His conflicting feelings over it - pain, anger, frustration, continuing love for her - are all evident in his choice of tracks. I recently bought the album for a friend of mine who's going through a divorce.

I've been a Kenny Loggins fan since the early 1980s, when I saw him in concert, and he almost blew the roof off the building. Since then, he's gone through a lot of changes, both musically, and in his personal life - with the latter feeding the former. I haven't always enjoyed the changes - I remember Kenny when he made music for the simple joy of making it; but the forays into self-indulgent navel-gazing, and save-the-earth preaching have kind've left me cold. Even his previous album to this, "It's About Time" which was supposed to be a return to form, sounded calculated and uninspired to my ears.
But now comes "How About Now". It sounds like Kenny Loggins music-making in his prime, with joyous, melodic, acoustic rockers, ... Read More:
