 Rating: - Ground-breaking soundMiles Davis is easily one of the most influential of Jazz musicians in history, and this, one of his most well-known projects, shows why. Listening to it a half-century later, it might sound less unique, but in the context of the time (1959), it would been so amazingly hot and cutting-edge, to have been mind-blowing to many listeners, and hated by many others. You either loved it, or you hated it. But all true masters of their craft have had that dilemma at one time or another. This album is definitely a must-have album! Rating: - One of the bestUndoubtedly this CD is one of the most important recordings in the Jazz History. This is a master piece of the improvisation and all serious listeners must have in his collection. I always enjoy it. |
