 Rating:  - Waste of MoneyI like Teddy but this was a waste of money. Sorry Concert. None of his greatest hits from the 70's. I could have had a V-8 Rating: - '79? OK!Teddy Live in '79? It's O K. But, if you really want to see Teddy you've got to find Live In London 1982, just before the accident. Now, that is Teddy Pendergrass at his best. A tight band, great background singers and TP in all his glory. Somebody please, let's get the good stuff out there. Rating: - TEDDY LIVE 1979 DVDTHIS DVD WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED. I COULD BARELY HEAR IT, THERE WAS NO VIDEO. I was extremely disappointed. I think someone recorded something over it or worse. IT WAS NOT TEDDY! Rating:  - So Good We Watched It AgainThis is probably the best Teddy P. concert DVD out. He does all the hits he had out at the time. I didn't realize what a great showman he was. It was clear that every woman in the audience felt like he was singing directly to them. Sound and video quality are good as you can expect. Not 5:1, but it's in stereo and sounded good on my home theatre system. If you like Teddy P., don't miss this. Rating: - Teddy's the MANWow, I didn't know Teddy was this great of a performer during his formative years. He knows how to command an audition. Highly reccommended!!! All we need now is another live release to include some of the hits (Turn off the Lights, Feel the Fire, etc)not recorded at the time of this concert. |
