I just bought the MP3 album and this does not have the explicit lyrics. The bad words are like you would hear if you were listening to it on the radio, you can't hear them. ARGH! I want my dirty words! I am very disappointed. Shame on Amazon.

this album has some really interesting versions of modern rock songs. but its not something that youre likely to listen to all the time. some songs are interesting and some just make you roll your eyes.

I have to say, I bought this CD on a Lark, thinking it would be OK, and (pardon the pun) cheesy. It is actually really good. Richard Cheese and his band Lounge Against the Machine takes popular songs from various genres and sings them lounge style. The effect is both impressive and slightly humorous.
This CD will not be for everyone, but if you are looking for a different take on your favorite songs, this is the CD for you.

You won't be able to listen to this in the car with the kids (too profane) and the one joke repitition wears a bit. Having said that, a must buy that is laugh out loud funny. It calls to mind the Bill Murray "Nick Lava" lounge singer bit, only better since this guy can actually sing. Would make a great gift, although I'm not sure for what holiday.

My sister introduced me to Richard Cheese and I think I busted something laughing at the music/lyric combo. This stuff is HILARIOUS.
That said, my baby daughter also digs this music. Sadly I am going to need to ditch this CD before she learns to talk or we are going to be in some deep S#@&T.
