 Rating:  - My own "Whipped Cream" fantasyI have fond memories of this album from my childhood. I remember my mother trying to hide the album cover because it was so racy for the times(at least in So. LA). But the folks did play it often. The music is still great. It sound as wonderful today as it did forty years ago. It stands the test of time. Rating: - Yummy Whipped CreamHerb Alpert is one of the great trumpet players and this album shows that. I could listen to him for hours. Rating: - WOW - STILL A CLASSICMy dad had this album when I was growing up in the 60's. Still a CLASSIC- -BUY THIS & ENJOY!!! Rating:  - Whipped cream and other delightsPerfect. Just as I wanted and is brand new, as I wanted. I had the old album but the new CD has better, clearer sound and is a treat to hear. Rating: - Nice work from Mr. Alpert and the guysThis record features many fine pieces by Mr. Alpert, the cover's not bad either, but the music gives another example of why he was so popular. His version of A Taste Of Honey is a delight and so are all of the rest of the tracks. Along with The Lonely Bull, Going Places, and South Of The Border, to name few of his recordings, a nice slice of "Latin" music. |
