 Rating:  - BEST MUSIC EVERRRR!!!Yoko Kanno has a gift for music and arrangement. Truly talented. Loved the whole album especially the classic guitar, in songs such as Red Hill. The vocal arrangements were awesome. Im late in getting exposed to this music but Its great to finally find something like this. Rating: - Wolf's Rain soundtrack volume oneThis a replacement CD for me. My orignal copy kept falling out of its case. Tracks 5-7 were damanaged, so I bought a replacement. The music is varied,and interesting. Kanno did a magnificent job of scoring this this show. The different styles of music don't clash, but blend together nicely. Rating: - A slow heat Yoko masterpiece!I know there are a lot of fans of Wolf's Rain who fell into the music at the first sight of the show. I like the show as well and really enjoyed the music while watching it. But it took me a while to realize the treasure of the music. At first, I just didn't find the feeling on this music work I found in Escaflowne or Cowboy Bebop. I can't say Yoko Kanno disappointed me. It was just not that strong. (I belive some of you understand what I am saying). I think it's after a year, while I played it during working on my computer, the music just gave a hit in my heart. The sad and desperate mood it brings is very real and deep, and fit the theme of the anime perfectly. I think maybe the anime really matters. Yoko Kanno's music is all ... It's great mood altering music and will somehow make you think about how things are. If you like anime soundtracks, definitely pick this one up. Rating: - Beautiful Music, proves why Yoko Kanno is on top of her league.The music is mixture from blues, folk, classical and rock. It beautifully captures the essence of the show, and good music to listen to regardless whether you liked or watched the show. Definantly worth checking out. |
