 Rating: - a treasure for devoteesThe more I listen to this remarkable recording, the more it touches my heart and lifts my spirit. In his heavily accented but crisp and charming English, Paramahansaji reads these prayers with much power and energy, making this CD a soul stirring experience. After most of the prayers, there is a chant, and though his singing voice isn't "pretty" or "perfect", it's a commanding sound that after 3 or 4 hearings will light a flame in your spirit. To quote the liner notes: "Those who join in the thought and feeling with Paramahansa Yogananda will find that listening to these chants and prayers imbues the heart with deep spiritual peace and an awareness of the Divine Presence".
