 Rating: - Stars and StripesThis Contemporary Christian American patriotic compilation features a wide variety of tracks. A few may be out of place, like the Amy Grant selection, but this is a solid collection of songs, many from older albums and sources. Nothing tops Sandi Patty's 'Star Spangled Banner' (it is available elsewhere)but Larnelle Harris inspires with 'Statue of Liberty' and First Call shines on 'Ring Them Bells.' Not the most satisfying American patriotic song collection but a good one with the only commercial recording of Sandi Patty's version of 'God Bless America.' Hymns of Faith: Songs of Inspiration Rating: - For God And Country-Various ArtistI have this album and it has some great songs on it.The song I bought it for was God Bless America(America The Beautiful)by Sandie Patti.I heard this song on the Steve and Dc morning show so I bought this album.Sandi Patti doesit like no other.She also does the Star Spangled Banner and ends it with the words America America.This album also contains a new patriotic song by Lee Greenwood that's not on his American Patriot album which I also have.This is the only album that contains the two patriotic songs from Sandi Patti. |
