 Rating:  - A Mixed BagThis disc contains a number of well-recorded bird songs...but it's the wrong number. The publisher created an incorrect index for this disc and it makes using it rather difficult. If you know what the birds sound like, it's a fine resource, but I haven't figured them all out and I must admit to being a bit frustrated. Perhaps this item should be recategorized under puzzles :-) Rating:  - calming bird soundsI really enjoy this CD. It was hard to find a disc without instrumental accompaniment. I am not a bird watcher who wants to know the names of the different birds so it doesn't matter to me that some of the tracks are labeled wrong or not at all. I have a conure and she has begun to sing like some of the birds on the CD. I only wish that I could find a CD that has the same birds through the entire play. It's a great CD if you just want something to relax to. Rating: - Bird SoundsUsed this with my classroom during March, the bird return moon... My students enjoyed it...but it would have been better with a pictoral accompaniment, so they could identify the bird with the sound...and if it had been regional (we leave in southeast TN). Rating:  - My Budgie Maude & I love this cd!I purchased this cd for my budgie to hear & learn different bird sounds during the day while I am @ work....Maude just goes wild when I walk over to turn it on.....she will sit on top of the cd player & bob her head. It will be cool when she starts repeating the different birds I had no trouble with the track not lineing up but the 3 bonus tracks didnt have a name only unavailable....but Maude can't read so she dont mind Rating: - Great sound; Wrong IndexingI give it 4 stars because it isn't too mixed up with the indexing and the most important part is the excellent sound...all for the low price! There are even 3 bonus birds at the end (but, no names!) I don't understand the person who says the indexing is not wrong. If you select a track and it isn't the bird then the indexing is wrong. Simple. Don't get it if you must have the indexing correct. And I think it is a great buy. No regrets! I'm getting more as gifts. I'll get the list straight. It will definitely help me learn the names! |
