 Rating:  - Great for the Younger KidsFor younger kids who like current pop music, this is a great CD! Kids can relate to the music, since it contains songs they have heard on the radio, and they're impressed by the other kids singing back-up. This is a perfect CD for kids who love pop music, and parents who wish to keep the inappropriate language from their children's vocabulary. A great gift for any young music lover. Rating:  - WhAT THe hEckI have been listing to this kind fo music for years, weird al can do a better job than that. But would anybody want to listen to any kidz bop CDs? Rating:  - Kidz BopSo much fun for the kids to sing to, the lyrics are a little clearer then on the regular radio songs, and I don't mind listening to it because it's songs that I already know. Rating: - Already awful pop music becomes awfuller...Now that I've just engaged in some butchery of the English language,these "Kidz Bop" compilations shock me with their success.Shania Twain's fun,twangy "Don't impress me much" becomes a strange ode when little kiddies sing about being kept warm in the night&"lack(ing) the touch." It's surreal to hear kids sing "I'm not that innocent" in their slowed-down,almost Sunday school version of "Oops!I did it again" and "she'll wear you out" in "Livin' La Vida Loca." Pop music is already bad enough--why make it worse? Rating: - Even I enjoy listening to this.For those of you who think this contains only songs sung by kids, let me put your mind at ease. The very first song on this CD is Allstar which is sung by an adult. In fact, it's the very same song used in the beginning of Shrek. All the songs are well done and are safe for your younger kids to listen to. No bad language, content or sexual inuendoes. Very nicely done. If you have young children such as I do(3-ages 10,8,6) you will definitely find a safe haven in Kidz Bop. I intend to get the entire set for my kids. |
