Editorial Review: Amazon.com: Green Day takes the title International Superhits literally, offering a no-surprises compilation of all the songs that made a big dent on commercial radio. From the pop-punk heroes' breakthrough album Dookie ("Longview," "Welcome to Paradise") through Insomniac ("Brain Stew"), Nimrod ("Good Riddance [Time of Your Life]"), and Warning ("Minority"), if a record produced a hit, that song is on this album. There are only two new tracks on the Superhits (both recorded a couple of months before the album's release)--the spazzed out rock & roll singalong "Maria" and the puppy-dog love of "Poprocks & Coke." Because International Superhits doesn't pull from Green Day's early EPs and Lookout albums or offer any live variations, though, this album is really only one for the serious-minded collectors who don't want to skip past a single Green Day release. -- Jennifer Maerz Customer Reviews

 Rating:  - THE COMPLETE GREATEST HITS COLLECTION FROM 1994 TO 2001This is a wonderful cd that has every hit from 1994 to 2001 , great music , great sound , great cd , highly recommended. Rating: - ExcellentThis was perfect for my wife who only seems to really listen to their hits and ignore the rest of the album. I think it's a good selection of songs though. Green Day has made quite a few good ones over the years. It's like being back in 6th grade. Rating: - A nice Green Day retrospective Green Day has become one of the most legendary punk bands of all-time. This collection, 'International Superhits!,' spans their Reprise years, 1995-2002. Although the legendary 'American Idiot' isn't covered (it wasn't released yet, obviously), you still get a great set of 21 legendary classics. Green Day's music is simply amazing. Billie Joe Armstrong has the ultimate punk rock voice, Mike Dirnt is a great bass player, and Tre Cool is a great drummer. This trio is a trio not to ignore, and if you're just getting into Green Day, buy this set. So how does this set measure up? Positives -EVERY MAJOR REPRISE HIT IS HERE!!! While not all the songs may be great, the darker songs make up for that. Then you get to Good Ridance (Time of Your Life) and think, "Wait, is this still Green Day?" I'm a fan of all types of music. I also won't be comparing this album to any other albums from the band. This review will be strictly on this particular album. Now onto the review. Here's a breakdown of the songs: Maria-This is one of the songs on this album that I didn't know before listening to this album. Clearly one of their earlier hits. In comparison to the other songs on this album, this song is just ok. Still has the typical fast pace guitars that Green Day is known for which is a plus.
