We're such big fans that we even liked the movie Jazz Singer! Anyway I highly recommend this CD, it's great. I was too young in the 70's to have appreciated his music and by the 80's most of his songs seemed a bit schlocky. Well, just recently I discovered my brother's Neil Diamond CD's and was shocked to find that he wrote so many great songs I've heard like "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon", "Red, Red Wine", "I'm a Believer"... Having only recently had the first taste of Mr. Diamond's early work, I was so curious that I went on YouTube to find more stuff on him. I have to say, I now love, love, love Neil Diamond --- most especially his early work -- "I Am, I Said", "Solitary Man", "I Got the Feelin' (Oh No, No...), "Longfellow Serenade".
