Features "Nature of the World" and "Four Lullabies for Harp." Kathy Bundock Moore's connections with Jackson Berkey began in 1994 when she appeared as harpist in the premiere of his choral setting of "Il est ne," with his lady, Almeda, as guest conductor. A long-time devoted fan of Mannheim Steamroller, Moore struck up a conversation with Jackson, and by the end of three days of rehearsals and concerts, a friendship and a collaboration were born. The result is the recorded Jackson Berkey Harp Book, which includes the suite "Nature of the World" and the "Four Lullabies for Harp." These two sets - edited, adapted, and recorded by Ms. Moore under the composer's supervision - encompass musical styles ranging from well known Holiday Carols to classical minimalism and rock. |
