Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
Teen scream flicks like this one are back in vogue, though what's really horrifying here is Kula Shaker's pedestrian cover of Deep Purple's "Hush;" come in, lads, your 15 minutes is up. Elsewhere, Toad the Wet Sprocket show more teeth than usual in covering "Hey Bulldog," and Hooverphonic's brilliant "2Wicky" gets a last-gasp airing. The big news: Adam Cohen debuts with the darkly romantic "Don't Mean Anything," and there are promising hints that Leonard's son could be the real deal. --Jeff Bateman

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the best soundtracks!
Ok, so the movie was almost hated by everyone except for a choice few... me being one of them, but even if you dont like the movie you should pick up the soundtrack. The songs on this cd are great. My faves are The Din Pedals "Waterfall" this song is absoulutely beautiful, Our Lady Peace "Clumsy" Great Band, Great Song. Kula Shaker "Hush" This song just rocks, Type O Negative "Summer Breeze" Really cool remake of this song! Hooverphonic "2Wicky" this one is so awesome. All the songs are really well rounded but I think the best song on there is Adam Cohen "Don't Mean Anything" it is so dark and beautiful, has a malancholy feel its so haunting.... but great. Either way this cd is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time!!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Only 1 good song
"2 Wicky" by Hooverphonic is the an amazing song, so go download it, and don't spend the money on the entire CD. "Hey Bulldog" is a great song, but only the original version by The Beatles, not the lackluster cover on this album. The rest of the songs on this CD are crap.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - BUY this album!
This album is VERY good! When I watched the movie, I had to go and buy the music right afterwards. I love this soundtrack and would recommend it to anyone!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Quite enjoyable
I finally bought this soundtrack after wanting it for many years. I really enjoyed the music from the film and this CD is full of nearly every song from it, except a couple including "Forgotten Too" by Ugly Beauty, which was one of the main reasons I bought it, but I am still satisfied with the majority of the album. My favourites are "Summer Breeze" -Type o Negative, "Hooverphonic" -2Wicky and "One Hundred Days" -Flick. I'm not entirely used to the CD yet so I won't judge any of the songs badly. I'd say if you enjoyed the film you should buy the Album.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good Movie, Great Soundtrack
Well, the movie isn't the best I've ever seen, but the soundtrack is fantastic. This was the c.d. that converted me to listen to alternative music, instead of country, which I used to love, but now detest. The song "Summer Breeze" is perhaps the best song on the album. I cant give the movie much credit though, it was o.k. for a teen slasher flick, but was a little lame in parts. However, whether or not you liked the movie doesnt matter, the soundtrack is excellent. Some of the artists on this album are not widely known, but provide some of the best songs on the c.d. If you are a true fan of the alternative music genre, or even the metal genre, this c.d. is a must have. Go buy it today!
