 Rating:  - There's something about these six songsThere's something about these six songs that makes this one of my favorite recordings, even after having this cd almost ten years. The production is so LOUD. You can hear everything clearly and yet it is very chaotic. Musically, it effortly does what followers (like Botch, Dillinger Escape Plan and Every Time I Die) need technical prowess and swift time changes to accomplish: making the music raw and energetic, like a musical roller coaster ride. Listen for the breakdown in the middle of the song Turk 182. It floors me every time I hear it. The other Deadguy stuff has mediocre production and a singer who I find boring, making those records pretty lifeless to me. This is it, the best of Deadguy. Rating: - very goodAn excellent album that puts most so-called "heavy" bands to shame. This 5 song (6 song if counting the hidden track) roller coaster ride into musical madness is deafening and crushes you just when you think you might be able to recover and stand again. The lyrics are interesting, while the smashing guitar and blasting beats are rivaled only by the horrific screaming of Pops. A must have for fans of metal-core, noise-core, and all out hard-core. A very good buy. Rating: - Deadguy is always one step beyond the restThis recording may not be as good as the first one they put out on Victory, put Deadguy is never actually BAD...most people actually prefer this one, but I like the first better (at least its longer). This one is great though, and marked the last album before their heart-saddening break-up (but they have a new live album that was recorded in july 96 out, but not on victory). The first track, "Human Pig", sticks to the tradition of Deadguy's first tracks by getting you energized from the very beginning. It starts out like some sord of warning siren and then goes into a crazy drum beat, then out of nowhere Pops screams you down until the very end of the track (actually to the very end of the CD). Then "Escape from the Fake Clink", what ... Read More: Rating:  - Errrrr? What can I say?Yet another hap-hazard, ear-piercing piece of noise. If you can actually listen to this stuff, more power to ya! I can't understand a word this guy says. If you can, you have SOME talent there. These guys are never going to make it out of playing little clubs in their hometown and maybe a few others. If that's what they like, then fantastic. If they really want to survive on their music, they're going to have to put a little more effort into making some semblance of music out of whatever talents they may have. I can't even head-bang to this stuff!
