Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - "It aint a crime" to have these beats+rhymes!!
Even now over 10years on, people are still talking about+listening to this classic hiphop album from one of the truely great hiphop acts in the last 15years. With MUGGS+LETHAL laying down some of the darkest+funkiest basslines you're likely to ever hear with break neck beats, screeching horns and haunting samples added to EVERLAST's gruff+DANNY BOY's high pitched rhyme deliveries, you're in for an amazing album. From possible the best opening track off ANY album "back from the dead" to the lead single "on point" to the ground shaking sounds of "over there sh**" to the story telling of "it aint a crime" to my personal favourite "who's the man?" we're treated to an array of tracks with a wide scope of topics. From beginning to end it's a typical ... Read More:

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Classic
This is House Of Pain's best album.
You can't skip one track, they're all great right from the opening.
Back from the Dead has a phat beat, and Everlast flows.
Once Again Muggs and Lethal lay down the dope beats.
Keep it comin is one of my favorite songs as well as where I'm from. " How do you know where you're going if you don't look back, what's the use of having endz if you lose all your friends"

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Their best album by far / On Point
I remeber picking up this album in 1994 playing it through not skipping any track. This is their best album by far in my opinion. The production is top notch by Vig & the beats are laid down superbly by Muggs & Lethal. Everlast flows infinitely smooth on this album. " On Point is the single & incredibly catchy tune but " I'm A Swing it & "Where I'm From" are my two favorites on cd. Every song rocks with track "Over their Sh*t" has samplings from Milk D's hip hop classic "I Don't Care" with House Of Pain's unique style & twist to it. "Same as it ever was" a rock tune with an incredibly catchy hook to it. This cd is in my top ten list for hip hop albums. Essential to collection for anyone who likes real hip hop.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - MASTERPIECE
House of Pain (Same as it ever was) is a great album. The remix to word is bond produced by my man Diamond D is mad phat phat phat word.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - House of Pain in full effect once again!!!
I'm not a huge fan of rap/hip-hop in general, but House of Pain KICKS ...!! Anyone who is sick of hearin about how much money and ho's guys have need to listen to the great rhymes and beats Everlast, Danny Boy, and DJ Lethal have to offer. Songs about hangin out, downin a few brews and kickin it with your boys. And they're actual "songs", with much higher real musical quality than most rap. You can really hear Ev's storytelling style develop on songs like It Aint A Crime. This album is great and very respectable because it goes away from the poppy gimmicky style that made their first album popular, goin the underground route and turnin it out. Just so you know, there ARE NO JUMP AROUND PART 2s HERE!! And that's just fine, cause this album (like ... Read More:
