 Rating: - 1st album let down by the 2ndIf just for Spanish Stroll, this is a decent purchase. Let's face it, you won't get hold of that memorable one hit wonder many other ways. There's another near classic from the first album, Mixed up shook up Girl. She's So Tough and Party Girl are the standout tracks from the rest of the first album. The second album is an almost redundant, tuneless affair in comparison to the debut album, and this rather explains why he didn't stay around (at the top) for very long. Never mind though, he did give us one of the best one hit wonders ever recorded in the lucsciously romantic Latino infused Spanish Stroll. It is a shame he couldn't keep writing songs of that calibre, as he had a great sound, of that there is no doubting. It's a pretty good debut ... Read More: |
