Don't get fooled into this if you want a concert c.d/d.v.d. package...the d.v.d. contains nothing but music, there is no concert footage; "very disapointing"...the trailer does tease you with some future possabilities of footage; that would be nice...if it were just a c.d. I would give 5 stars; but as a package it's not worthy!!!

Having recently purchased several of Jeff's cd's from Amazon on sale, I couldn't resist when this new live disc came out for $10. The band line up is the same that performed @ Clapton's 2007 Crossroads charity concert (my favorite segment on that dvd set).

This is one awesome live concert. The band performs flawlessy and Jeff's guitar wizardy is bang on. Though not always a fan of live cd's, I heartly recommend this one. 70+ minutes of rock / blues / jazz fusion and even a Beatles cover tune !

Compared to his two comtemporaries (Clapton and Page), Jeff is not resting on his laurels and continues to evolve / expand his repetoire. For this reason he surpasses Eric and Jimmy. This live disc shows why.

Fourteen years. That's how long this 'on again-off again' album took to complete. Was it worth the wait? No CD is worth a 14-year wait. Is it a good album? Yes. For all intents and purposes, Axl Rose IS the sound of Guns'N'Roses. Not to denigrate Slash and cohorts, but Axl can easily hire 'Slash sound a likes' to fill in the guitar riffs and with the army of musicians he used in the studio recording this CD, it's definitely a quintessential Guns'N'Roses album. Axl refused to promote the album so it debuted with numbers that were a little bit below what was expected, but it did hit number 1 in Canada. This is by far the best work AC/DC has done with Brian Johnson since Back In Black. Every song is amazing, with Brian doing the best singing in years. I've been an AC/DC fan since Dirty Deeds and especially the Bon Scott years and I like all their music, but this album is now my favourite. If any band has gotten better with age, it is definitely AC/DC. It's been a long wait 8 years but definitely worth it.

Étant un fans fini de Genesis j'étais certain que je n'allais pas être déçu. Je savais pourtant que j'allais revoir plusieurs scènes vidéo d'archive, disponible un peu partout sur Internet. Je comprenais aussi que j'allais faire l'achat de musiques que j'ai dans tous les formats imaginables et inimaginables. Donc, rien de neuf pour moi ! Cependant, à ma très grande surprise, j'ai fait la découverte de quelques démos qui m'ont fait comprendre davantage le cheminement du groupe Genesis et en ce qui me concerne, seulement ça en vallait le prix. Je suis enfin certain que des humains en ont fait parti. Et, croyez-moi, ce n'est rien pour les abaisser. Et, bien sûr, les "remix" sont très intéressant à revisiter. I love this DVD in Blu Ray. It is just mezmerizing! Just Buy it you will not regret it at all if you are a fan of their music. One of the last concerts where Keith Moon was mashing on the drums. Just unbelievable!

It was a joy to watch.

If you're expecting Robert Plant to sound like he did with Jimmy Page, you will be disappointed. This album is not an "energizer". It took me a few "listens" before I got over that. It will definitely appeal to Alison Krauss fans since her country style predominates, and Plant does some background vocals for her. I don't normally like country music or duets very much, but this album is so good, it seems to stand in a category of its own. Although an unlikely pair, Krauss and Plant manage to pull it off. There are no filler songs, they are all good in terms of lyrics, music and vocals. It's not a "blow me away" album, but it's very well done. You pretty much get everything in this release. Extraordinary musicianship c/o Geddy, Alex, and Neil, amazing sound, stunning visuals, lasers in the face, intros by South Park and Bob and Doug, comedy, Geddy's brother, Barbies, rotisserie chicken, Ben Stiller's dad... So, maybe those Dutch fans are not as exciting as those Brazilian fans on Rush in Rio (But they are better than the Germans on R30 - and the Belgians in general.) But this one excellent live package.
